2024 Budget Approved with Modifications | |
The special meeting of the presbytery was held the evening of November 16 at Westminster Church in Richmond and via Zoom. Three recommendations from Mission Council were considered. Recommendations 1 (2024 budget) and 3 (strategic plan review task force) were approved with amendments. Recommendation 2 (plan for church and ministries development fund) was incorporated into recommendation 3. A summary reflecting the updated motions and vote results is available on the presbytery website. A recording of the meeting also is available. | |

Are You Attending the Inaugural Matthew 25 Summit? |
On Martin Luther King Jr weekend, January 16-18, individuals and representatives of churches and mid-councils will gather in Atlanta to explore the Matthew 25 vision. Presented by the Presbyterian Mission Agency, the event will focus on three themes:
- Innovation: Deconstructing the New Ministry Frontier
- Engagement: Who is Doing What and Why and How?
- How Do We Challenge and Transform?
