Arts Orange County joins the arts community in mourning the loss of Larry Baza, Chair of the California Arts Council, our state's arts agency, of COVID-19 earlier this month. "Larry was a passionate and indefatigable arts advocate statewide and in his home community of San Diego, and was a a friend to so many of us in the field. Irvine Valley College Performing Arts Center Receives Naming Gift for its Main Stage
Irvine Valley College (IVC) and the Irvine Valley College Foundation have announced the first-ever naming gift for the IVC Performing Arts Center. Masoud Rezanoor, a retired CPA and Irvine resident, pledged $250,000 to provide enrichment opportunities for the music department at IVC. To acknowledge Rezanoor's generosity, the Main Stage of the Performing Arts Center will be renamed the Rezanoor Stage. Read more here.
