18th Annual Southeast Florida Climate Leadership Summit

The School of Environmental, Coastal, and Ocean Sustainability (ECOS) is looking for passionate undergraduate students to represent us at the 18th Annual Southeast Florida Climate Leadership Summit! Undergraduate students must be from one of the following departments in the College of Science: Biological Sciences, Geosciences, or Chemistry and Biochemistry.


November 4-6, 2026

Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale

Apply by Oct. 11! Only 10 spots available.

Students chosen for the program will receive notification by the end of the day on October 19.

This Summit brings together scientists, government officials, nonprofits, business leaders, and community changemakers to explore real solutions to South Florida’s climate challenges. It’s an incredible chance to network and learn from top experts in a space where innovative climate action happens.
