CUNY students get free admission to many cultural institutions such as MoMA, the Whitney and the Intrepid Museum. This summer, take advantage of these and other benefits of CUNY Arts.

A group of CUNY students got an exclusive free tour of the Museum of the City of New York’s exhibit about the life of pioneering pol and legendary alum Shirley Chisholm. If you haven’t seen it, there’s still time – but it closes Sunday!

Two recent grads just released a clothing collection developed in collaboration with their alma mater that has “storytelling, community and identity stitched into every thread.” 👕👖

The Research Corner

Summer days may be hazy and crazy, but they're certainly not lazy for more than 170 CUNY community college students who presented their original research at an annual symposium last week. Meet a few of them here and check out their projects! 🧪📊

This professor, who has received more than $4.5M in research grants since 2000, will use his most recent award to continue research on nucleosides.

FloodNet NYC, an urban flood-monitoring system co-led by CUNY scientists, started in Jamaica Bay and now serves as a model for projects far from home.

These honors undergrads received recognition for their excellence in research.
