Reserve a community garden in 2020
The 2020 waitlist is now open for new gardeners interested in a plot in one of our three community gardens. The gardens are located at Cheese Ranch Historic & Natural Area, Dad Clark Park and Foothills Park. The seasonal fee is $50 for residents or $58 for nonresidents.

Gardeners returning from previous years have first priority and should reserve their plots by Feb. 28. New gardeners on the waitlist will be notified the first week of March if spaces are available. Call 303-791-2710 or click here to learn more.

Reduce conflicts with coyotes
The Metro District manages a parks and open space system with more than 2,500 acres of land. These areas provide habitat and food source which attract coyotes to our community. With 5,000 residential properties adjacent to the open space and nearly 1.5 million visitor days, it is not uncommon for individuals to spot a coyote behind their back fence or along the trail they may be walking.

If coyotes are venturing a little too close for comfort to your yard, schedule a coyote conflict prevention home audit with the Metro District. Email info@highlandsranch.org to schedule yours today.
