VALLEJO, CA-The Vallejo Police Department is currently investigating a homicide that took place on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at around 1:36 a.m. on the 400 block of Admiral Callaghan Lane.
As part of the investigation, the Vallejo Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying any relevant activity that may have occurred on eastbound Interstate 80, particularly between Tennessee Street and Redwood Parkway, during the hours of 1:25 a.m. and 1:35 a.m. on July 5.
The Vallejo Police Department Investigation Division is specifically looking for:
- Witnesses who were traveling on eastbound I-80 during that time and might have seen any unusual behavior, such as possible road rage, shootings or disturbances involving vehicles.
- Residents or businesses that have exterior surveillance cameras pointed at I-80 in the mentioned area and timeframe.
