Preventing the Spread of Coronavirus

T he health and safety of students and staff in our school community is our highest priority. The evolving health concerns involving the coronavirus is an issue that we take seriously. The Archdiocese of Chicago has been working closely with the Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH) and monitoring the advice of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The best way of controlling the spread of Coronavirus and any virus is staying home when you are ill. Therefore, all staff and students should stay home when they are suffering from the symptoms of flu or virus. Parents, to report an absence, call the Attendance Office before 9:15 am on the day of the student's absence at 773.467.4618. If you or someone from your family experiences concerning symptoms, such as severe cough, rapid noisy, painful, or other difficulty breathing, please contact your health care provider immediately for advice.

We will continue to provide updates and guidance as needed. You may also learn more about Resurrection's prevention efforts HERE, including links to the CDC, actions to prevent the spread of the virus, and additional relevant information.

We ask that you keep those impacted by this virus in your prayers.

Game of Tiaras

Resurrection's drama department presents the spring play,  Game of Tiaras. When the aging king of a Magical Kingdom decides to split his empire between his three daughters, Cinderella, Belle, and the Snow Queen (who in no way resembles a copyrighted character), terrible tragedy ensues. Terrible, hilarious tragedy. Combining the gut-wrenching plot twists of Game of Thrones and the soul-numbing despair of Shakespearean tragedy, this adaptation of King Lear will leave you dying with laughter.

Tickets are $7 in advance and $10 at the door for the general public
& $5 for Resurrection students.

Advance ticket reservations are available by calling 773.775.6616 Ext 110 during school hours.
