Res Pep Rally Friday on Good Day Chicago
We celebrated Spirit Week from September 25 to 29, 2017 and activities included our fall pep rally, our annual Walk-A-Thon, special theme days, and a visit from Fox News Good Day Chicago!

95th Anniversary Candlelight Procession
Resurrection College Prep High School celebrated the conclusion of its 95th anniversary year and marked its commitment to the education and faith development of young women with a Candlelight Procession Ceremony yesterday, Sunday, October 1, 2017.
The candlelight procession began at the Sisters of the Resurrection Grotto and proceeded through seven stops on the Resurrection campus.
Special thanks to the members of the Campus Ministry Student Leadership Team, the
, who helped to plan and coordinate this event. Thank you also to members of the Parents Club who hosted an ice cream social following the procession, and deepest thanks to the Sisters of the Resurrection for their vision, leadership, dedication and support of our students.

Parents Club Supports Mobile Makers Program
The Resurrection Parents Club recently donated $10,000 for the purchase of new MacBook Air computers for the Mobile Makers program. Resurrection is offering a new Mobile Makers App Development course that provides students an opportunity to build and deploy an iOS application from end to end while they learn the basics of sequential and object-oriented programming, basic data structures, and a solid understanding of iOS app construction.

Resurrection Fundraising Updates
Cash Raffle Winners for Drawing #1
drawing was held on September 25 and the winners were
Sue Skrocki ($1,000 prize winner) and Sarah Holzmann ($100 student winner).
The next drawings will be November 1 ($1,500) and December 8 ($2,500).
Students may turn in stubs for raffle tickets sold along with payment at any time to the Main Office.

Resurrection students raised almost $32,000 for our school with 97% of our student's participating!

The Entrance Exam for all Catholic high schools in the Archdiocese of Chicago has changed from January to December. The Class of 2022 Entrance Exam for all Catholic high schools will be on December 2. Girls in 8th grade who are interested in testing at Resurrection can sign up for a registration reminder.
