We are always in need of foster homes.
There is nothing more rewarding than providing a loving home for a dog in need. Our coordinators work with fosters to match dogs to the right foster home, and we provide foster training throughout the year. All you have to do is provide food, love, exercise and attention!
In late November, we learned about the amazing work being done overseas by a fellow golden retriever rescue. They requested the help of other organizations in rescuing 47 Golden Retrievers that had been pulled from a slaughterhouse and placed in a shelter in Baicheng, China, northeast of Beijing. While our focus has been and will continue to be local, NRGRR is excited to help bring four of these dogs into NRGRR.
We believe that “Love Knows No Borders.” We’d like to introduce you to our China 4: Tian (meaning God of Heaven), Mei Mei (little sister/beautiful), Jin (Gold), and Zhen Zhen (very precious). Click HERE to learn more about this rescue.

Bubba is a sweet dog who loves his people very much! He smiles and laughs all the time when he's playing or just hanging out. Bubba is very smart and is greatly treat-motivated for training. He is house trained, crate trained, sleeps and eats quietly in his crate. Bubba walks very nicely on leash.
He loves to go places in the car and do things just so long as he doesn't have to meet any strangers. Bubba has "stranger danger" fears, and can growl in response to strangers out in the world or coming into the house. So to fully enjoy the great dog that Bubba is - we're looking for an adopter who can and will continue his training, earn his trust and respect and manage interactions with strangers.
We hope you enjoy this new platform for the Rescue Ranger! You may receive this edition more than once as we strive to not leave anyone out. You can always email us at email@example.com with questions or concerns.
