Inspiring the Next Generation of Researchers

The Clinical and Translational Science Collaborative (CTSC) of Northern Ohio hosted Research Discovery Day at Case Western Reserve University, uniting researchers, students, and research support professionals for a day of learning, collaboration, and career exploration.

The event featured engaging poster sessions from CTSC-supported institutions—including Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland Clinic, MetroHealth, NEOMED, University Hospitals, University of Toledo, and VANEOHS—alongside exhibits highlighting CTSC services and opportunities.

A standout moment was the involvement of students from 20 local high schools, who explored careers in clinical and translational research through a keynote address, a research career panel, and poster sessions. With interactive sessions and a focus on inspiring future researchers, Research Discovery Day was a celebration of collaboration and curiosity!
