Call for Abstracts

2022 CPH Research Day activities will be in conjunction with the 17th Annual Center for Clinical and Translational Sciences Spring Conference


The conference will be in person at the Gatton Student Center on

April 5th, 2022 8AM-5PM

Registration deadline for the Conference is March 25th

Deadline for abstract submission is March 1st


Submit your abstract and select “College of Public Health” under session category using this LINK.


Awards will be given at the CPH Award Ceremony on April 5, 2022 as part of National Public Health Week.


Undergraduate students can have one poster printed for free each semester https://our.uky.edu/posters. The Office of Research can assist with the cost of poster printing printing for others. Please email and send any questions to [email protected]

Community Leadership Institute of Kentucky

The University of Kentucky Center of Excellence in Rural Health and the UK CCTS Community Engagement and Research Program are requesting applications for the 2022 Community Leadership Institute of Kentucky (CLIK). CLIK is a hybrid 8-week leadership development training program offered in Hazard, Kentucky. It is designed to enhance research and capacity-building competencies in community leaders, senior staff, directors and administrators. 

 

In addition to nearly a dozen enriching sessions provided by well-established experts during the 8 weeks, each participant’s organization will receive a $2500 grant for their participation in this competitive program and completion of their proposed project over a 12-month period. The participant’s organization must have 501c3 status or a designated lead fiscal agency (health agency or non-profit) to receive and manage the grant award. 


Key Dates 

RFA Release Date: February 7, 2022

Applications due: March 4, 2022 

Applicants Notified: March 18, 2022

Save the Required Training Dates: March 28, May 16 (both in-person), April 4, 11, 18, 25 and May 2, 9 (all virtually)

               

Save the Required Six-Month Project Update Meeting: Fall 2022 (date to be announced). Save the Required Graduation Date: Spring 2023 (date to be announced)
