The Trevor Harrison Civic Engagement Scholarship honours the legacy of lifelong political volunteer Trevor Harrison, who lived 12 years with an astrocytoma brain tumour while making meaningful contributions to Canadian public policy.
Created by his family, these $2,000 scholarships support politically engaged students impacted by a brain tumour who are pursuing post-secondary studies in political science, public policy, or related fields. Apply by October 31, 2025.

Expanded Access to
Clinical Trials
| In partnership with Health Charities and Patient partners of Clinical Trials Ontario, a consultation submission was made in 2024 in response to Health Canada's document about expanded access to clinical trials. Recently, Health Canada posted its 'what we heard' about this consultation. There were 5 themes that emerged from the submissions, many of which we had highlighted in our submission. | | Neurological Health Charities Canada | |
Neurological Health Charities Canada is seeking partners across the neurological, population health, and health economics research communities to co-design and develop an updated national neurological health survey. High-quality, comprehensive data has the power to improve care, treatment, and policies for Canadians affected by neurological conditions.
| | Since 2005, the Canadian Cancer Research Alliance (CCRA) has tracked investments in cancer research across Canada. This ongoing work has identified key funding trends, informed national research frameworks and recommendations, fostered new partnerships, and helped drive investment in emerging areas of focus. | | |
Your participation in studies and surveys is essential to advancing brain tumour research in Canada.
Learn about ways you or others in the brain tumour community can get involved in brain tumour studies and surveys, or share with us if you are looking to recruit. If eligible, we would love to share your work to help support.
| | OTHER FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES | | |
