Research Triangle Region is preparing students for STEM careers 
The Research Triangle Cleantech Cluster issued a report in August that sheds light on the talent needs and job opportunities in the region’s cleantech sector.

Our goal was to help illuminate whether local conditions matched national trends that forecast a looming talent gap for utilities, in particular. If you missed it, check out the  summary report on our website.
RTCC SMART Series: Best Practices to Attract, Retain & Develop Talent 
We invite you to join us for a continental breakfast  T uesday, January 26, 2016 from 8:00 am – 10:00 am at the Research Triangle Foundation Headquarters to hear from area employers about the strategies they are using to recruit, retain and develop talent – and the challenges they’re working to address.
RTCC Cleantech Connect Career Fair
The Cleantech Connect Career Fair will take place on April 21, 2016 from 3:00 – 5:00 PM in conjunction with the  2016 State Energy Conference at NC State University’s McKimmon Center. 

Access to the career fair is free for students and job seekers, but registration is required. Exhibition opportunities are available for employers.  
Regional Transportation Alliance Celebrates Success of Mobility Initiatives in 2015 and Reveals Elements of Draft Wake County Transit Plan
Jenn Bosser attended the Regional Transportation Alliance (RTA) Annual Meeting on December 3 with 300 regional leaders to celebrate the mobility successes of RTA including a new direct flight from RDU-Paris via Delta Airlines starting in May 2016 year; Future I-44 authorization between Raleigh and Hampton Roads, Va., just signed by President Obama on Friday, Dec. 4; and the release of the Draft Wake County Transit Plan Reveal.  You can find a full recap of the event on RTA's website.
