The American Association for the Advancement of Science’s Science & Technology Policy Fellowships provide opportunities to outstanding scientists and engineers to learn first-hand about policymaking and contribute their knowledge and analytical skills in the policy realm. Fellows serve yearlong assignments in the federal government and represent a broad range of backgrounds, disciplines, and career stages. 

The National Science Foundation’s Advancing Informal STEM Learning program seeks to: advance new approaches to and evidence-based understanding of the design and development of STEM learning opportunities for the public in informal environments; advance innovative research on and assessment of STEM learning in informal environments; and engage the public of all ages in learning STEM in informal environments.
