Dear K-State researchers and research staff,

Units and staff members in the Office of the Vice President for Research are closely monitoring effects of the ongoing partial government shutdown. We are aware of challenges associated with sponsored projects with end dates and promised continuations during the shutdown, and those PIs have been contacted individually.

Many researchers are largely unaffected by the shutdown, but the situation remains fluid. Our office will continue to track developments and will issue additional guidance as necessary. We will offer updates in Research Weekly as information becomes available.
