MARCH 2020
Research and Sponsored Programs Update
COVID-19 RESEARCH GUIDANCE
During these unprecedented times for Fresno State and the nation, we’re continuing grants-related activity as much as possible. Our team is submitting proposals, negotiating and accepting awards, and submitting and processing other sponsor requests even while staff is working remotely for the most part.  We continue to work with faculty/staff members on upcoming proposals and remind everyone to check for updates from local, state and federal sponsors such as NSF , NIH and the National Endowment for the Humanities .
The current situation led us to regrettably cancel the 41st Central California Research Symposium , which was scheduled to be held at Madden Library on April 15. The decision was made consistent with event guidelines set forth by the CSU Chancellor's Office , as well as state and local public health agencies. We greatly appreciate the time and effort everyone dedicated to this year’s event and hope to see you next year.

In addition to information about recent awards and upcoming funding opportunities, this month’s newsletter includes important guidance from the Committee for the Protection of Human Subjects (CPHS) regarding ethical practices for the continuation of research involving human subjects during this time.

While we miss seeing you in person, please don't hesitate to connect with us via phone and email. Our entire team wishes you good health and encourages you to check our website or social media channels for updates as we navigate the next few weeks.
