New WSU Virtual Reality Cave uses cutting-edge technology
Nestled in a nondescript room in Wichita State's MESA Building is something known simply as "the Cave." It doesn't look like much - that is, until the lights are turned off and the 12 LED projectors are turned on. Suddenly you're immersed in a 3D, full-color virtual reality experience from the floor up to the three surrounding walls.

Big Changes for Small Contractors
Steven Koprince's practice focuses on helping small businesses navigate the federal marketplace, and he is a regular speaker and author on the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the SBA affiliation rules, and other legal matters important to small government contractors. SBIR Road Tour comes to Wichita
The SBIR Road Tour at WSU was attended by more than 175 people including attendees from small businesses, 35 high school students and 21 federal representatives.
Colocated with the Defense Energy Innovation Summit & Showcase, and the SBIR/STTR Innovation Summit, the Defense Innovation Technology Acceleration Challenges is accepting panel proposals and poster abstracts through August 18.
The U.S. Small Business Administration has awarded Wichita State University $125,000 to assist science- and technology-driven businesses interested in applying for government seed funding.
