Scholars and Experts Gather at Babson
Educators from Collaborative member schools, Henley Business School , Nord University , Tecnológico de Monterrey , and Toulouse Business School participated in two premier events held at Babson this month:

The Babson College Entrepreneurship Research Conference (BCERC) is the preeminent research conference on entrepreneurship in the world. 

The Diana International Research Conference culminated with Diana Impact Day, the first global convening of over 220 investors, accelerators, policy-makers, researchers, women entrepreneurs and other disruptors dedicated to changing the landscape of financing women entrepreneurs.

Meet Academy Dean, Amir Reza
As dean of the Babson Academy and Global Education, Amir Reza is responsible for strategic leadership of The Academy as well as the advancement of institutional internationalization efforts through curricular and co-curricular programs. One of Amir's priorities for the coming year is to increase the value, expand the reach, and amplify the impact of The Collaborative.
 
Fun facts: Amir was born in Iran, grew up on three continents (Africa, Asia and North America), and is renowned at Babson for his proclivity for punning.

Babson Fellows Program for Entrepreneurship Educators
October 13-18, 2019
Application deadline: July 15 

In this intensive and immersive program, faculty are exposed to the Babson and local entrepreneurship ecosystems and work to advance an initiative or project they hope to implement at their home institution.
Collaborative members are given priority in the selection process, and if selected will receive a discount.
Price-Babson Symposium for Entrepreneurship Educators
January 20-23, 2020

In this action-based program, educators from around the world learn best practices in entrepreneurship education from Babson College faculty. Collaborative members receive a discounted rate.

MBSC Students at Babson
Thirty-five MBA students from MBSC participated in a two-week program on innovation and leadership. Students experienced the local ecosystem, interacted with guest entrepreneurs, and immersed themselves in the Babson campus.

Student teams identified and developed innovation opportunities which they presented "Shark Tank" style on the final day.
Global SEE held in Concepción, Chile

Colleagues from Collaborative member school, UDD were among the 50 participants in the Banco de Chile—Babson Symposium for Entrepreneurship Educators this month. Babson professors, Matt Allen and Andrew Corbett led the group through an exploration of the entrepreneurial process and best practices for teaching and learning entrepreneurship.
