The United States of Care (USofCare) recently announced the launch of a two-year longitudinal research study related to Medicaid work requirements under H.R. 1. The study will document the impacts of Medicaid work requirements, especially on people with chronic conditions, including HIV. It aims to understand Medicaid enrollees' experiences and pain points navigating Medicaid work requirements leading up to and through implementation.

Recruitment is now open and they are calling for Medicaid enrollee participants to join the study.

Working with the research firm CultureIQ, the study will follow the same enrollees across five states: Idaho, Missouri, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, through five rounds of in-depth interviews timed to several critical federal and state policy milestones to understand people's experiences. The study will release data, experiences and insights throughout the course of the study.

To help with recruitment, flyers are available for each of the five states. Please download and use the flyers to encourage participation.
