Update: NYSTIA's Canadian Public Relations Co-Op Program

Representing 16 NYSTIA Co-Op participants from across New York State, the Canadian Public Relations Initiative is one of several supported by a Round 12 Market New York grant awarded to NYSTIA by New York State's Empire State Development and the I LOVE NY Division of Tourism under Governor Kathy Hochul's Regional Economic Development Council Initiative.


Sarah Martin, Co-Op Initiative Leader at Break The Ice Media has provided an update on the success of the spring events and upcoming initiatives to inspire travel and visitation to New York State among leisure travelers in Ontario and neighboring provinces in Canada.

Carla Kolbe is the Tourism Coordinator for Fulton County New York. Her responsibilities will be to oversee the county’s tourism consisting of coordinating publicity and communications for visitors, initializing events, providing resources to local businesses, and supporting the growth of the county.

Merchantry Tourism, LLC Co-Hosting Tourism Info Center at the Great NY State Fair

Tourism and other hospitality businesses are invited to enroll in rack space with Merchantry Tourism LLC at the Tourism Info Center at the Great New York State Fair set for August 23-September 4, 2023. The Tourism Info Center distributes literature provided by destinations from all across the US and beyond and is located in a high-traffic building at the fair.
