Reserve Your Space Now for Upcoming In-Person Workshops

The Home Centered Care Institute (HCCI) will hit the road later this year to deliver two in-person home-based primary care (HBPC) workshops.

The first stop will be sunny San Diego for the Essential Elements of HBPC™ Workshop. The highly interactive Nov. 10-11 workshop will target HBPC newcomers and those looking to enhance their knowledge through case-based sessions focusing on practice administration and clinical care models.

The next stop on the “tour” will be another warm-weather location. Set for Dec. 1-2 in Dallas, the Advanced Applications of HBPC™ Workshop will address the topics providers and practice staff need to know to expand their HBPC skills with a value-based care lens. This includes hands-on training in procedures commonly performed in HBPC, including tracheostomy tube exchange, gastrostomy tube removal and replacement, wound care, knee joint aspiration and injection… and brand new — Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS).

These live workshops will be the last of the year, so reserve your spot now before they fill up. Register for Essential Elements here and Advanced Applications here.

Get 30+ Free Home-Based Primary Care Resources

Did you know that HCCI offers more than 30 free tools and tip sheets on a variety of HBPC topics? One of the newest is the Superbill Worksheet, a comprehensive list of the primary services for which a house call practice should bill.

“Practices can use the ‘Superbill Worksheet’ to identify the primary services they can be reimbursed for and assist them in identifying the services they are providing, but are not billing for,” said Dana Crosby, Senior Director, Engagement & Practice Development, HCCI. “HBPC providers deliver valuable care to those most in need and it's important for them to receive accurate and complete reimbursement dollars to ensure the sustainability of the practice.”
