Our Traveling Model Matzah Bakery will transform your school into an old-world Shmura Matzah Bakery, complete with theatrical backdrops, brick oven, sheaves of wheat, stone grinders, Miriam's well and more. Even Moshe and Pharaoh make an appearance! Dressed in bakers hats and aprons, your students will thresh golden wheat stalks, winnow wheat grain from the chaff, grind kernels of grain, sift whole wheat flour like at the farm. The 'bakers' will then knead, roll, perforate and prepare the dough for the final step. Then while the matzah bakes in the stone oven, everyone takes part in a concluding mini-model Seder complete with the Four Cups. Finally, the students eat their own crispy hand-made matzah. At the end of the program, each participant gets an individually boxed, full-sized, delicious Shmura Matzah that is Kosher for Passover, together with the Four Questions and a pictorial Seder Guide.
