Hello human services professionals! You're invited to the COSA Providers Fair, a wonderful chance to connect with colleagues and learn about the amazing work happening throughout Hampshire County. This is a relaxed tabling event where you can network, share information about your programs, and discover valuable resources from other agencies. Let's come together to discuss current services and initiatives and strengthen our community partnerships.


Register for a table today! Tables are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Non-members pay a $30 fee, but for COSA members, it's completely free. Light refreshments will be available.


Don't need a table? Come on down! We'd love to see you. No fees. No registration.

United Way Annual Kick-Off on Oct 9th


It's time to register for the United Way of Franklin and Hampshire Region 2026 Campaign Kick-Off Breakfast at uw-fh.org. Delicious food prepared by the award-winning UMass dining team, a gorgeous setting in the UMass Student Union Ballroom, and the kindest people will be there. Join in, learn more about the exciting work happening to make our community healthier for all.

Safe and Healthy School Summit on Oct 8th


The Northwestern District Attorney’s Safe and Healthy School Summit, “Schools in the Age of Digital Distraction,” will take place Oct. 8th at Greenfield Community College. The Summit will explore the risks and benefits of cellphone and social media technology on the developing brain and the learning environment, community norms around tech use, digital media literacy, and how to promote healthy relationships with technology to foster engaged learners. Keynote speaker, Dr. Michael Rich, will deliver a presentation titled Raising Healthy, Smart, Kind Humans in the Age of Social Media and AI. The Summit is geared toward K-12 administrators, including superintendents, assistant superintendents, building principals, pupil services directors, teachers, para-educators, school resource officers, nurses, counselors and other vital members of school communities as well as youth-serving organizations. Three County CoC training on Oct 2nd and 9th


The Three County CoC invites you to join in this community interactive training, which introduces the framework of Targeted Universalism and how it can be applied within homelessness systems and Continuums of Care to advance outcomes for all populations. Participants will explore how to set universal goals, such as ending homelessness for everyone, while identifying and addressing the unique circumstances faced by specific groups.

ASC opens UMass Amherst campus pantry


Amherst Survival Center has announced that the new Campus Pantry opened this past weekend! This amazing new program, operated by the Center, and fully funded and supported by the University, is already being very well utilized! The Campus Pantry is located at 472 N. Pleasant Street. It is accessible to all UMass community members – students and employees and their families.

Hampshire County Harm Reduction Survey


Tapestry and Hampshire HOPE are facilitating point-in-time surveys with individuals who have lived or living experience with drug use and reside in Hampshire County. The goal is to inform regional harm reduction services and utilization of Opioid Settlement Funds. Surveys are confidential, one-on-one conversations. Participants receive a $25 gift card. Upcoming sessions at ASC on Sep 18th and Northampton Recovery Center on Oct 1st.
