Dear 1609 Hazel Residents,
As we complete the sixth week of our fall semester, we have all begun to settle into our “new normal” of masks, social distancing and reduced social contact. The Residence Life team understands this may feel isolating, and that attending so many virtual classes and events may bring a new type of fatigue. Our community has done exceptionally well in the face of COVID-19 – thank you for all you are doing to keep the music playing!
We wanted to take a moment to acknowledge these challenges and remind everyone that our commitment to safety and health must be continuous. While you may be tempted to attend or host parties, please remember that each of our actions affects the entire community. As a reminder, due to COVID-19 the following limitations are in place in the residence hall:
- No more than 10 total people in a suite at a time
- No more than 4 total people in one bedroom at a time
In addition, ALL non-residents entering the building must be registered using this form. This includes folks just stopping by and overnight guests. If your guest will be staying overnight, please complete the form once for each day they will be in the building.
Please reach out to us if you have questions or concerns. We are here to help you through this unique semester.
