27th ReelOut Queer Film Festival: January 29 – February 7
Born in the backroom of a local gay bar in 1999, ReelOut grew from a passionate collective of activists, artists, and film lovers into a nationally and internationally recognized nonprofit dedicated to queer storytelling.
The 27th annual ReelOut Queer Film Festival’s theme is “Exploring Space,” as many selections touch on what it means to hold, save, and/or create spaces for communities that need them.
With over 65 exciting Narrative and Documentary feature-length and short films from Canada and 15 other countries, the chance to catch world premieres, and to meet the talents behind the films at post-screening audience engagements, don't miss your chance to support a longstanding community organization and celebrate 2SLGBTQ+ voices from around the world – right here in Kingston!
While all of the films are about 2SLGTQ+ lives (real and imagined), all who enjoy independent film and media are welcome.
