Resident and Guest Updates
Closure of City Facilities and Event  Cancellations

The updates on the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic are rapidly unfolding. The City of Rancho Mirage is working closely with the Riverside County of Public Health and monitoring how this impacts our community. As a reminder, please stay informed on all the precautions you can be taking via the Center for Disease Control (CDC) website
(click here). If you are "high risk" (elderly or have pre-existing health conditions), please avoid gatherings and practice social distancing.
On March 9th the City of Rancho Mirage announced the temporary closure of the Rancho Mirage Library and Observatory as well as the cancellation of City events through the end of March. Those closures and cancellations are now extended until April 30, 2020 as recommended by the recent March 16, 2020 order from the Riverside County Public Health Department. The important services the City of Rancho Mirage performs will continue although there may be delays in response time. Residents and guests are encouraged to call, email or go online with their questions. The below closures and cancelations are a means to slow down exposure of the COVID-19 virus to residents and guests as well as protect City staff so they can continue to operate the services our citizens rely on.

If you have any questions about your eligibility to vote, please contact the County Registrar's office at (800) 773-VOTE (8683) or (951) 486-7200, TTY (951) 697-8966
