One of the key aspects of a successful college experience is knowing when and how to seek help and utilize the many resources available to you on campus. It's perfectly normal to encounter obstacles and challenges during your academic journey, and we want to ensure that you have the tools and support necessary to overcome them.

Here are a few important resources to keep in mind:

Academic Support Services: Saint Mary’s offers a wide range of academic support services to assist you in your studies. The Academic Success Office is more than happy to assist. Learn more below.

Mental Health and Wellness: College life can be demanding, so taking care of your mental and emotional well-being is crucial. Our Counseling and Psychological Services is staffed with professionals who are ready to provide support and guidance. If you're feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or simply need someone to talk to, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Co-curricular Activities: Getting involved in clubs, organizations, and campus events is a great way to connect with your peers and make the most of your college experience. Don't hesitate to explore the various opportunities available to you. Make sure to check out the events RHA and other campus partners are hosting this week!

Remember, asking for help is a sign of strength and resilience, not weakness. If you're facing challenges or uncertainties, reach out to your professors, academic advisors, your RA or any of our professional staff in the residence halls on campus. We are here to ensure your success and well-being throughout your college journey.

Tips for successfully using residence hall laundry rooms:

Did you know laundry is free on campus? All laundry costs are included with housing, so no coins or swipe cards are needed.

  1. Set a timer! Did you know you can scan the QR code on each machine and it will link to a timer? Combine that with setting on a timer on your phone and you'll know exactly when your laundry is ready!
  2. To mitigate moisture issues, make sure to wipe down the outside of the washing machine drum and leave the doors open when you're finished!
  3. Respect the space but keeping the laundry room cleand tidy. Dispsoe of lint in the provided bin and submit service requests if machines stop working.
