Become a foster carer in the Royal Borough

Fostering households in the Royal Borough will benefit from a boost to the package of financial, practical and emotional support on offer from this April, in a bid to help recruit and retain much needed foster carers and improve the lives of local children in care.

The measures, which include reimbursement of council tax for new and existing foster carers registered directly with the council, builds on the package of rewards Achieving for Children, who deliver our fostering service, already offer - including expert support and training to help foster carers deliver the best possible care, a competitive weekly fostering fee and London rate child allowance.

Have your say on grounds maintenance

There's still time to provide your feedback on how ground maintenance takes place across the borough, before our survey closes on Monday 3 February.

We’re preparing to update the contract that relates to how we look after parks and open spaces, including grass cutting and managing weeds, burial grounds and some shrubs and hedges along our highways, and want to hear your views to shape the future of the service.
