Temporary suspension of services at St Marks Hospital

In order to make the best use of resources, local NHS commissioners have taken the decision to suspend the minor illness and injury unit at St Marks Hospital in Maidenhead.

This will allow clinicians from the unit to be redeployed to where their skills can be put to the best use. Patients will still be able to access treatment for minor ailments via their GP surgery, which they can access by phone or online consultations.

Please see the website for full details and further resources.
School admission appeals

Primary school offer placements were issued on Thursday 16 April.

Due to social distancing rules following the outbreak of COVID-19 and following guidance from the government, school admission appeals cannot currently take place. This is because the current legislation states that the hearings must take place in person.

Once we have received full guidance from the government we will update our website and contact those affected to explain how admission appeals will be handled this summer.

See here for more information.
Help for domestic abuse victims and survivors

If you are concerned about someone suffering domestic abuse, please see our resources below for help. Always dial 999 if you are in immediate danger or in an emergency or 101 in a non emergency.
