Are you a relational, values-aligned, and emotionally intelligent leader with personal commitment to a path of inner awareness that enhances organizational and societal effectiveness? Hidden Leaf Foundation – a small and collaborative family foundation promoting inner awareness within liberatory movements – is hiring a new Executive Director (ED). The ED will report to a three- to four-member Board of Directors (which includes both family and independent members), lead a three-person staff team, and work closely with next generation family members as well as movement and institutional partners to advance a more just, ecologically healthy, and compassionate society. Openness to ongoing experimentation and learning alongside skills and desire to evolve grants, investments, infrastructure, and storytelling will bolster the ability to thrive in this role.

Chief Financial Officer

Are you a collaborative, creative, and client-centric financial maven with innate curiosity, untethered imagination, and unbridled passion for doing things differently? Possibility Labs (PL) – the platform for building a new economy where all people and the planet thrive – is hiring its first-ever Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This is an exciting time to join PL as it commemorates four years of co-creating a new economy that centers BIPOC leaders, organizations, and communities. Reporting directly to the CEO as a member of the Collaborative Leadership Team, the CFO will have the opportunity to develop a Finance and Compliance Team and drive financial oversight of over $20 million in assets across the organization. The CFO will lead timely financial reporting, annual budgeting, financial compliance, and accounting functions and consultants as well as play a key role in developing and implementing the impact investment strategy. To be effective in this role, the CFO will be equal parts strategist and tactician finding non-traditional solutions to meet the needs of PL and its partners who represent a diverse ecosystem of community-power builders. Knowledge and/or direct experience in two of PL’s three services - Fiscal Sponsorship, Donor-Advised Funds, and Resourcing Initiatives – is ideal.

Executive Director

California Partnership to End Domestic Violence

Location: California (Remote; Must live in CA; Extensive Statewide Travel)

Are you a relationship-oriented, emotionally intelligent, and strategic leader in the movement to end domestic violence, or allied movements? The California Partnership to End Domestic Violence - the federally designated statewide non-profit domestic violence coalition representing over 2,000 advocates, organizations, and allied groups - seeks a new Executive Director (ED). The ED will bring a spirit of humility and demonstrated commitment to racial and social justice alongside deep passion for helping shape the future of this movement in California in close partnership with members, the Board of Directors, staff, and other stakeholders. This position will drive the statewide development of intersectional alliances, brining together stakeholders addressing issues that intersect with domestic violence; advocating for policies and practices that prevent and reduce domestic violence in California; and providing technical assistance to the statewide network of domestic violence agencies. The ideal candidate brings team and/or organizational leadership experience, with a history of supporting staff members’ work and capacity; experience working in a coalition and/or engaging collaboratively with a complex set of stakeholders; domestic violence program expertise inclusive of prevention and intervention strategies; and financial and fundraising acumen at or near the scale of $5 million annually.

This is an exciting time to join the Foundation as grantmaking has grown steadily from $67 million in 2012 to $158 million in 2024. The ideal Program Officer will be a generalist who brings relevant professional and lived experience across nonprofits, philanthropy, consulting, the public or private sectors, and/or one or more of the Foundation’s focus areas: Better Careers, Fair Work, Just Prosperity, and Priority Communities.
