Thank You for a Successful Holiday Giving Drive

A huge shout out and thank you to everyone involved in our Holiday giving drive — including all of the particpating Starbucks stores, The Chapel, Valent Biosciences, Chiro One Chiropractic, Curt’s Café, Healthy Body/Healthy Mind, Move Studio, Shephard Middle School, Laura B. Sprague School, Tracey Wooten and Jesus Name Apostolic Church, and Amanda Alpert Knight. A special shoutout also to volunteers Ellen Lubelfeld and Janice Greenawalt for their help in organizing the drive.

We recieved thousands of donations for our CASA children, including toys, pjs, clothes, winter gear, books, gift cards, and more. Thank you all for helping us make the holidays a little brighter for children in foster care. We are so grateful for how our community showed up!

Kudos for Some Amazing CASA Volunteers!

To CASA Kendra for the successful adoption of her eleven-year-old CASA child with his forever family. Kendra has providing advice, support and care for the child since 2020. She is loved by the family and is so happy for all of them in this successful adoption.

To CASA Michael for the special relationship he has formed with his CASA teen. He is there to support and listen. Not only do they talk about sports as a shared interest, but Michael also attends his teen's sporting events. Michael is proving to be a consistent adult presence in the life of this teen.

To CASA Jim for being there for his sixteen-year-old CASA youth during some very difficult times. This young man recently lost both parents and is experiencing a great deal of loss and grief. Jim will be there to listen and continue to provide support for this young man in whatever ways that he can.
