New Bishops!

The Diocese of San Joaquin (home diocese of ECCO) elected Gregory Kimura to be their sixth bishop

The new Diocese of Susquehanna, the new home of the Brooklyn Retreat Center & Diocese of Central Pennsylvania's summer camp program, elected Audrey Scanlan to be their first bishop

The Diocese of North Dakota, home of St. Gabriel's Camp, elected Shay Craig to be their next bishop

May God pour out blessings on these new bishops 
and our centers who will be working with them

ECCC Racial Justice Work Listening Sessions

There will be 3 sessions: one will be for BIPOC individuals, one will be for those who identify as white, and the final session will be for all to attend. You don’t need to sign up in advance. The dates are:

  • White affinity group listening session: November 20th, 6-7:30pm EST - Zoom link
  • BIPOC affinity group listening session: November 21st, 2-3:30pm EST - Zoom link
  • Open listening session: December 5th, 3-4:30pm EST - Zoom link

This year, as we explore the theme of storytelling, we’re inviting everyone to join the ECCC Annual Conference Book Club—a shared reading experience for our community of camp and conference leaders. Together, we’ll read a book that captures the power of story: how it shapes identity, builds connection, and helps us make meaning in the world.

The Diocese of West Texas is seeking a Director for Duncan Park, their small, seasonal youth camp and retreat center located 25 miles northwest of Boulder, Colorado in the Rockies at an elevation of 9500 ft. on the banks of the beautiful St. Vrain River. This position is responsible for overseeing the facilities, staff and programs. They are looking for a leader who knows Christian hospitality, understands adventure programming and enjoys living off the grid.
