How can you help?

Oral health resources are available in Georgia!  

This Resource Spotlight will cover information like where to find dental care, payment information, and educational resources on oral health for the families you serve. 

  • Mothers with Medicaid can receive an array of comprehensive oral health services during their pregnancy.  
  • All Georgia Medicaid recipients have access to emergency extraction services. 

Where to Find Local Dental Care
Many dental sites which are  listed in the Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies directory offer a sliding fee scale for payment for dental treatment services based upon ability to pay.
Services are provided to children who are enrolled in Medicaid and PeachCare programs, as well as uninsured low-income patients. You can even search by payment type to find a provider who accepts the family member's insurance.

The Georgia Oral Health Coalition , through its strong partnership with valued stakeholders including the Georgia Department of Public Health,  is dedicated to increasing access to dental care and improving oral health and the quality of life of all Georgians. The coalition's website contains local and national links to  oral health resources within Georgia .
