Southern California Learning Community

Thank you for joining us on November 30, 2018 for  Achieving Impact through Evaluation and Data for Family Strengthening Programs. Know Your Audience:
Local Civic Leaders/Policy Makers and Community/Agency Partners.

Our sincere apologies for the audio issues at the beginning of the convening. We understand how frustrating it was and appreciate your patience and understanding.
We are preparing for a better experience at the next convening on March 8, 2018.

Putting learning into practice

All the convening participants are encouraged to:
  • Continue developing a culture of inquiry for evaluation, including valuing data, creativity, and consistent internal data sharing!
  • Create a first level data report for a single program - who we served and what we did.
  • Create a second level report for a single program and include one practical, relevant impact measure.
4 strategies for preparing reports for policy makers and community leaders:
  1. Share how your program addresses an area of unmet need in the community. This assists leaders in allocating resources.
  2. Succinctly share the impact of your activities.
  3. Articulate the return on investment for your program.
  4. Cite quality 3rd party data that is relevant to your program's impact.
