Survivors Thriving Support Group | Resource and Crisis Center

Continuing this month, RCC is hosting a Peer Support Group called Survivors Thriving. This will be a mutual support group for Survivors of Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and Human Trafficking. Call 888-919-7233 for more details on times.

Community Assistance Providers of Galveston County (CAPGal)
Members Meeting 4th Thurs monthly 11:30AM -1PM 
What is CAPGal? CAPGal members provide immediate assistance to underserved people in short-term crisis.
Annual membership allows members/member organizations to request funds for emergency assistance for people in need (once per year per client). Assistance provided as funds are available.  CAPGal Fund is supported by contributions and donations from its members, the community and annual fundraiser.

Drag Bingo Fundraiser | Resource and Crisis Center of Galveston County

Monthly Food Fair | New Life Fellowship Galveston
Date: Second Saturday of the month, Time: 8:00 am,
Location: 6328 Heards Ln., Galveston
Each Month, New Life Fellowship holds a food fair. It’s open to the community and completely free!
Volunteers place food such as fresh fruits and/or vegetables and canned or packaged items (food varies each month) in the trunk of your car. You will only be asked for basic household information.

Registration begins at 6:30am

First United Methodist Church in La Marque hosts their bi-monthly Galveston County Food Bank distribution. They are always in need of volunteers to come and help out. Volunteers should arrive around 7:30am to help


Monthly Veteran
Food Drive
Date: Third Wednesday of each Month
Time: 3:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Location: The Connection Foursquare Church 9300 E.F. Lowry Expy #222, Texas City, TX
Each month, SERVE, Combined Arms, Pastor Tim Franklin of The Connection Church and the Galveston County Food Bank will host a VETERAN food distribution.

Giles Middle School will be hosting it's monthly food drive with GCFB. Participants should enter off Brown St. Event is open to the public.
