Stolen catalytic converter propels community to help fix Food Bank truck in time for Christmas

Thieves broke onto our White Rock/South Surrey Food bank property earlier this month and cut the catalytic converter off our new truck, making it more challenging and stressful to serve hundreds of community members in need at our busiest time of year. Word spread, with  Peace Arch News and CTV News covering our story. People across Metro Vancouver responded wanting to help us get our truck back on the road in time for Christmas.  With such incredible and generous support, we were able to fix our truck, and more!  Read More
Housing Programs helped
The  REALTORS Care Blanket Drive in November collected 18 bags full of blankets, clothing, socks, boots and other needed items for Sources Housing First Program.

Our Housing Programs also received "tons" of donated footwear, winter coats and high-quality clothing used in local movie sets, from   Helping Families in Need Society.
