Supporting You in Uncertain Times
The past few days have been particularly fraught with remarkable tensions swirling around the national election. With Michigan playing a key role in the emerging outcome this week, heightened anxiety and distress have understandably had an impact on the lives of all of us – children, families and youth development professionals.

We at the Michigan After-School Partnership are here to continue to support our out-of-school time community. We look ahead with hope and recognition of the bi-partisan support that our nation's 21st Century Community Learning Centers program has long enjoyed.

An illustration of that was support by Republicans and Democrats for the recent bipartisan bill introduced in the United State Senate to increase funding for 21st Century Community Learning Centers by $1.2 billion to enhance Coronavirus relief. We will continue to advocate for out-of-school time programs to create the conditions necessary for children, youth, and families to thrive.

Listed below are some resources that may help as you support children, youth, staff, and families navigate these uncertain times.
