Congratulations to Christine Nguyen for her new role as Director of Client Services.

Christine has been with Child Action, Inc. for over ten years, most recently serving as Interim Director of Client Services when she unexpectedly stepped up to manage the department.

Her experience and knowledge benefit us all, clients, staff, and community alike.

Our staff are united in their commitment to joining together in service to our community and are grateful Christine will continue to share her vision and leadership as she embarks upon this next phase of her CAI journey.

We are excited to see what you will do next, Christine!
Child Action, Inc. is Sacramento County’s hub agency for child care. Recognizing the critical role our agency fills, we were asked to distribute child care supports for families and early learning care givers throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic. We distributed Protective Equipment (PPE) and cleaning supplies, diapers and wipes, child care provider stipends, and enrolled essential workers into child care subsidy programs.
We appreciate the opportunity to connect with our community partners, parents, and early learning care partners that these projects provided.

As of December 31, 2021, the CDSS waiver of the CPR/First Aid requirement for child care providers is expiring. Child care providers will once again need to have a current CPR/First AID card. CPR/First Aid classes must have an in-person skills practice and evaluation component.
