Businesses citywide—regardless of industry—must comply with the PSD Act, and are required to:


  • Establish and maintain a Paid Sick Days policy,  
  • Provide clear notice of workers’ rights to employees, and  
  • Submit their policy and notice documentation to: paidsickleave@pittsburghpa.gov

You must file an annual report starting in 2025.


Know the requirements and deadlines. 


Your filing window is based on your entity type:

Limited Liability Companies: Jan. 1 - Sept. 30
