MA State Treasurer & Receiver General Launches Small Business Resource Toolkit Website

This small business toolkit was developed under the direction of State Treasurer Deborah B. Goldberg to provide access to comprehensive resources for small business owners in Massachusetts.

Treasurer Goldberg hopes that the toolkit will empower entrepreneurs to achieve economic stability, security, and opportunity by offering valuable educational materials on how to plan, maintain, and grow a successful small business.

In order for small businesses to thrive, Treasurer Goldberg recognizes the importance of building a support network. This toolkit provides small business owners with information about banks, community development financial institutions (CDFIs), and community partners across the Commonwealth.

Keynote Speaker: Massachusetts State Auditor Diana DiZoglio, a leading advocate for transparency and government accountability. As the keynote speaker, Auditor DiZoglio will discuss her bold initiative to audit the Massachusetts Legislature—an unprecedented effort to ensure that legislative funds are subject to the same scrutiny as other state agencies. This initiative is critical for business leaders, as it speaks to the integrity of our government and the responsible management of taxpayer dollars.

DiZoglio’s charge to make the Legislature more transparent has sparked a crucial debate about the balance of power and accountability within our state.
