Resources to Support Summer Hiring

With the school year coming to a close, many employers will soon be welcoming students and young workers to their teams for the summer. Providing a strong start through orientation, training, and ongoing guidance can help young workers build safe work habits and gain confidence in their new roles.

The minimum age of employment is 16 years old, with some exceptions for 14 and 15 year olds. If you're planning to hire students this summer, it's also a good time to review Saskatchewan's minimum age requirements and workplace restrictions.
