PARISH OPEN HOUSE PICNIC  OCTOBER 9

Join us next Sunday, October 9th after the 11:15am Mass in the Fr. John M. Phillips Parish Life Center and St. Francis Terrace for this special Catholics on the Move Parish OPEN HOUSE Picnic Event.

It is time to get together to celebrate our come-back from a few years of separation! We invite everyone to be a part of our Parish Open House Picnic on Sunday, October 9 at 12:30pm. It is not only a time to get together as a parish family, but also to open our hearts to others who are not Catholic or not baptized to join us for fellowship, food, music, and fun. We hope this will be a great opportunity to reach out to those who may like to join our parish family as well. So we are inviting you to also extend the invitation to family members, friends, or even strangers, Catholic or not, to join us for a fun time at our open house picnic.

To make our celebration a true shared experience, we ask that if possible, you bring a picnic-style side dish to share with others. The Parish will provide the main dish, drinks, and desert. Please let us know if you can bring a side dish by calling the office or signing up on the list provided in the vestibule of the Church. We are looking forward to seeing you at this parish family gathering!

IN THE COMMUNITY

ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 13 at 2pm in the Church we will pray a SPECIAL ROSARY TO
OUR LADY of FATIMA

There were 6 apparitions of Our Lady, the Virgin Mary, in the town of Fatima, Portugal between May 13 and October 13, 1917. She appeared to three shepherd children, Francisco and his sister Jacinta Marto, and their cousin Lucia Dos Santos. During the apparitions Mary told the children to pray the Rosary each day to bring peace to the world and to bring an end to war. She asks them to pray for the conversion of Russia, to do penance and that God wanted the world to have a devotion to her Immaculate Heart. The Roman Catholic Church officially recognized the Fátima events as worthy of belief in 1930.

These messages still stand to this day, especially as Ukraine suffers the devastation of war at the hands of Russia. Come and pray this special Rosary with us for an end to this war and for peace in all the world as our Mother asks.

Join us on Thursday, October 13 at 2pm at Holy Faith inside the church to pray with us for the intercession of Our Lady of Fatima for these intentions and those on our hearts.
The next Catholic Charities FOOD DRIVE
will be on

This is a great Ministry and easy way to serve in the community through your Parish. Want to join us? Volunteer today!
