Dear Homeowner,

The Association’s Board of Directors and Management are proud of the patriotism shown throughout the PGA WEST community in the display of the American flag, a symbol of unity, sacrifice, and freedom.

Recently, we have noticed some flags have become worn or weather damaged. In keeping with the U.S. Flag Code, we kindly ask residents to inspect their flags and retire any that are torn or faded. Flags should be retired respectfully.

The Association has learned that the American Legion in Palm Springs accepts American flags that are no longer acceptable to display. The Association will have a receptacle in the lobby of the Member Service facility at 54-320 Southern Hills through November 14, 2025 where you may bring your worn or tattered flag. Please ensure that when you deliver your flag to the Association, for disposal that the flag is neatly folded. Association Management will transport the flags that are collected to the American Legion office for proper handling.
