Help Us Respond to the Flooding Crisis in California

The most recent onslaught of severe weather in California has flooded the Watsonville and Salinas Valleys. Among the most impacted communities are the migrant workers and their families that produce much of our nation's food supply. Their homes and livelihoods have been destroyed.

Thankfully, the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur and the Casa de la Cultura Center are there to help.

Started in 1989 by Sister Rosa Dolores Rodriguez, SNDdeN, the Center is the only nonprofit in the area specializing in comprehensive services for the hundreds of families who migrate through the valleys.

Celebrating the Inauguration of Mary. K Boyd, Ph.D.

Join us in congratulating Mary K. Boyd, Ph.D. on her recent inauguration as the president of Emmanuel College in Boston, Mass.

Emmanuel, founded in 1919 by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur as the first Catholic women's college in America, maintains a strong connection to our Sisters and the mission of St. Julie Billiart. Many of our Sisters attended the Inauguration Ceremony on April 14th.
