The ARCL Araxi Boulghourdjian Socio-Medical Center provided much needed care to those that suffered from injuries on the day of the explosion. The Medical team even performed surgeries under cell phone flash lights, in front of their damaged center. In the days following the explosion, nurses and doctors also made house calls and continued to care for the injured.
The ARCL “Vartouhi Degirmenjian” Kitchen has been preparing hot meals for disadvantaged families. Two days after the Beirut explosion, they had already prepared 1,000 meals for the most vulnerable in their community and are continuing this initiative.
They have also provided infant formula, hygiene products, and household items to community members.
