Dear SGWS Families,

The mode of learning will be determined by the administration and communicated to parents and teachers based on Summit County's risk level in the Ohio Public Health Advisory System (OPHAS).

County Level
The current county OPHAS level is Level 3 Red. This is week 3 of red following the Level 4 the county had been previously.  Summit county has now been at Level 3  Red for the three weeks needed to return to hybrid learning on 1/4. For the latest information, please refer to the  COVID-19 School Update Section of our website.
We will communicate the county level and anticipated learning mode weekly to support the parent/guardian's ability to plan.
While the COVID-19 indicators in Summit County are improving, the case numbers are still very high. Please be vigilant about assessing the health of your child and following quarantine guidelines in the event of exposure. This link details a graphic from Summit County Public Health regarding isolation for those who are ill or test positive with COVID-19 as well as quarantine guidelines for students who have been exposed to the virus.
Please email me at tedwards@sgws.org if your student needs to isolate or quarantine.
