Response and Reopening Plan 11/27/20

Dear SGWS Families,

The mode of learning will be determined by the administration and communicated to parents and teachers based on Summit County's risk level in the Ohio Public Health Advisory System (OPHAS).
The current county OPHAS level is red star (aka red watch) and our current learning phase for the week of 11/30 is hybrid learning model.  The anticipated learning phase for the week of 12/7 is either hybrid learning model or distance learning. We cannot predict what the rating for Summit County will be next week.  It is important that families prepare for both possibilities.  If the OPHAS level is red next Thursday, we will remain in hybrid learning for the week of 12/7.  If the OPHAS level is purple next Thursday, we will move to full distance learning for the week of 12/7.
We will continue to communicate the county OPHAS level along with our current and anticipated learning phases each Friday.  For the latest information, please refer to the COVID-19 School Update Section of our website.
