June 1, 2020 – As of October 1, 2019, ALL costumers must be at least 21 years of age to purchase any tobacco product, electronic cigarette or vapor product.
The law has not changed.
• Photo ID is required by anyone under 30 years old
• The law does not grandfather anyone
• The law does not exempt military personnel
• Fines and penalties have increased
Stay safe during the pandemic. Do the right thing and
ask all your customers for photo ID during this difficult time. Watch the mail for a special notice letter,
state notice signs and reminder decals.
