Vail Village Farmers' Market

 

Kelly spent her Sundays during the summer at the Farmer's Market here in Vail. Each week we saw a unique and fresh menu created for our Sunday Harvest Dinners. This has been one of our busiest summers yet, and by all accounts; the food fare was fantastic. You can see Tony G. and the guys playing jazz music for Sunday Harvest Dinner in the photo to the right.

 

Great Memorable Events  

 

Thank you to everyone who joined us this year for any of our special events. Each year we like to invite some of our good friends from the industry into the restaurant to share, discuss, and consume the wonderful local products that they create. A few of the most memorable events from this year were the Bourbon Dinner with the crew from the Buffalo Trace Distillery, our Whole Hog Butchering Dinner (with Mark Denittis), and our first annual Meet Your Farmers Dinner (featuring our local farmers).  

 

 

Horseback Riding  

 

For the second year in a row, Kelly was the featured Chef for the Vail to Aspen horseback riding hut trip - hosted by Bearcat Stables. This 3 night excursion takes guests through the 10th Mountain Division backcountry hut system here in Colorado. Each evening Kelly prepares delightful mountain fare while everyone relaxes around the campfire.

Hook, Line & Dinner
(Cooking Channel Premier Jan. 31st)

Kelly will be featured in an upcoming episode of "Hook, Line & Dinner" on the Cooking Channel. Watch Kelly and host Ben Sargent embark on a fly fishing adventure in the Rocky Mountains. The episode will premier January, 31st at 8pmET/5pmPT.

Food and Wine Magazine

The staff from Food and Wine Magazine joined Kelly on the Bearcat Stables horseback riding trip from Vail to Aspen, and this year Kelly was featured in a full story that was published in the August issue of Food and Wine Magazine.

Upcoming Events

January 15th
Robert Sinskey Meet & Greet

Start your evening with one of the most well known and respected vintners: Robert Sinskey. Sinskey will join us for a special meet and greet to taste his wines and answer your most burning wine questions.

Join us from 5:30 to 7:00  in the bar area for wine tasting, and a casual yet informative event. The full menu will be available to guests a la carte. Of course; everyone is welcome to stay for dinner. We do expect this to be a busy evening, so please call for reservations if you plan to sit down and eat at 7:00.


March 10th
Cochon 555 Tour (Vail, CO)

The Cochon 555 Tour brings together 5 chefs to compete against each other in this pork-themed event. Each chef gets their own pig and it is up to them to prepare the dishes and put together wine pairings.

Last year Kelly was a guest judge at the Denver Cochon 555 event. This year you can root for her and her team as contestants at the event in Vail.
