Restaurant Recovery Update 12.22.20
Massachusetts
Governor Baker implements 25% capacity limit for next two weeks on all businesses; Indoor dining remains open

These measures will go into effect on Saturday, December 26 and will remain in effect until noon on January 10, 2021.

Restaurants will be permitted at 25% of seating capacity.
(a) workers/staff excluded from occupancy count.
(b) applies separately to indoor and outdoor capacity

Restaurants remain open for business, in dining rooms, through take-out and delivery, or in some cases outdoors. Restaurants are in the business of supporting the community and now we need the community to support our restaurants and their employees. Restaurant operations of all shapes and sizes need an economic recovery plan. We can't increase regulations, without an increase in economic support. Unfortunately, it is likely that these additional regulatory restrictions will further force people to gather privately and unregulated over the next two weeks, which is the opposite of the pleadings of the government.
